What are our college and career programs?
Girls Who Code offers a wide range of programs designed to support college-aged students and early career professionals (18-25) in persisting in their computer science education and succeeding in their first internships and jobs.

    Technical Interview Prep
    As part of GWC’s annual Hiring Season, register for a Technical Interview Practice Day, a free, virtual event for those looking to foster their technical interview skills. Participants practice different types of technical interviews and gain real-time feedback from peers, hiring managers, and volunteers. Other sessions feature alumni sharing advice and interview tips!

    Girls Who Code Workshops
    Girls Who Code Workshops is a webinar series for our community that brings experts together to explore career paths and exciting technical topics. This series tackles topics like finding an internship, careers in cybersecurity, or how to prepare for an interview.

    Hiring Season
    Girls Who Code hosts annual Hiring Summits to directly connect job-seekers with potential hiring partners. They feature keynote speakers, panels, a community lounge, and a Resume Book for hiring partners. The Hiring Summit is preceded and followed by optional workshops for participants to help them prepare for and make the most of the event.

    GWC Labs
    GWC Labs is an 8-week program that invites college-aged participants to explore and engage with emerging technology, like generative AI, through self-directed learning and an independent technical project. In addition to practicing in-demand technical skills, participants learn from industry professionals and leverage peer support to prepare themselves for current and emerging careers in tech.

    Work Prep
    Work Prep is a 3-week virtual program that gives college students an inside look into select companies’ culture, processes, technology, and roles. Participants will have the opportunity to network with current employees and learn more about their roles and career journeys, while connecting with their cohort and joining interactive, educational sessions to strengthen their resumes and inform their career paths.

    Mentoring Corps
    Girls Who Code’s Mentoring Corps is a nationwide program that harnesses the power of near-peer mentoring relationships by matching high-school-aged Clubs with College Loops to explore coding projects, college life, and tech careers.
